British Blue Wool is made from 100% Bluefaced Leicester fleece which is supremely soft and considered Britain’s most luxurious fibre.
British blue is a naturally dense wool with good lustre, superb insulating properties and so soft that it can be worn next to the skin. This natural fibre is perfect for all projects, especially for babies and children, as it keeps the skin comfortable throughout the year, whatever the weather.
This DK weight yarn is available in irresistible 25g balls and so it is perfect for lightweight garments and colour work. In the spinning process it has received a superwash treatment making it machine washable and therefore practical for baby. Wool is natural, comfortable, breathable and absorbent enabling the skin to be cool in summer, warm in winter, so it is perfect for baby and for layering.
With a palette of chalky pastels and bright ‘pops’ that all work together you can be sure of choosing a successful colour combination. Perfect for fairisle work.
