This cabled, high-necked tabard is one of my favourite designs. It is the perfect extra layer when the weather starts to turn cold. You can join the sides with either ribbon or a button - there is no need to knit a button hole as it will slip through the border.
Knitted in our super soft, super chunky Puddle yarn, this 100% merino wool from the Falkland Islands is available in a palette of 8 colours.
Whimbrel comes in a kit with pattern, yarn, needles and project bag.
Measure across your shoulders to determine your size:
43cm/17in Small (4 balls)
45.5cm/18in Medium (5 balls)
Needles: 15mm and 12mm circular (US 19 and 17)
The finished length is 56cm/22in but you can make it longer if required although you may require extra yarn.
